As Project Manager for Security Risk Mitigation I am working on a number of projects related to IT Security in general. Some projects have their origin in internal needs and advances in technology, some are initiated with changing regulations (FSMA/CBFA, SOX, others).

As part of the team DTS Solution Architects we work over all the different specialties that make an IT Installation a real added value to the Business. We work on projects that the business requests, and look for the best fitting solution for the request, or for the best Future Driven solution, answering current and future expected needs.

Our main partners in finding the best way forward or finding the most efficient solution are the Matter Experts, Architects and Design teams. They provide the most valuable input to feasibility, implementation impact analysis and other vital info needed to get us to the best solution for the Business.

My work will for a large part be concentrated on a set of projects centered around security. From the External Perimeter to the precise needs for NAC (Network Access Control). This includes reviewing and if needed proposing new ways forward and certainly future driven. Efficiency, delivery as a service and cost are the most important external drivers (aside of the security context, of course)

Enterprise Infrastructure Architect,
As member of a team of architects we search for IT solutions to challenges set by projects. Building on experience, market research and by working with the different design teams we construct new solutions to new requests or work with the different teams to improve existing implementations.
Guiding projects and sometimes assisting the project managers are also in our daily tasks. Some projects are small, others span the European continent and touch the thousands of users in the Suez/Electrabel group.
